Gergely Szügyi

Gergely has been working with investments in the past ten years. He joined Central Investment Group in 2010, which manages three venture capital funds as well as private investments. In the recent years Gergely and his team successfully executed several transaction both on buy and sell side mainly with international parties. Beyond his investment director role, Gergely currently also the CFO of Central Media Group which is one of the significant investments of the group. Central Media Group as the publisher of Nők Lapja (Women’s Magazine), Elle Hungary, Marie Calire, National Geographic, Story, and Best magazines is one of the leading media portfolios in Hungary with some of the traditionally best known websites on the Hungarian online market just like Startlap, NLCafé, 24.hu or Házipatika.com, etc. With its print and online media portfolio Central reaches 6.5 million people every month in Hungary.
