Georgi Deyanov is a Vice President in the Research Department at Morgan Stanley. He is an economist for the CEE region, but also covers EM Frontier Markets (Bulgaria, Croatia and Serbia). Moreover, he is involved in research on CEE/Russia as well as broader CEEMEA thematic research, on topics such as FX pass-through, inflation and C/A sensitivities to oil prices, and potential growth by using econometric models as well as input-output analysis. Before joining Morgan Stanley in December 2014, he worked as an economist in the Forecasting and Research Department at the Bulgarian National Bank. Georgi holds a BSc and an MSc in Economics from the University of Poitiers, France.
