Balázs Garamvölgyi graduated from the then Budapest University of Economics in 1998. He started his career in the corporate finance area at CIB Bank, and after several commercial banking positions he headed the EU refundable funds subsidiary within the MFB Group from 2010. Subsequently, he was also active in the capital markets; he participated in the establishment of the Kecskemét Municipal Fund Management Company, he was leading MFB Invest Ltd. and later held another management position in MFB Bank. Currently, he is responsible for the management of the factoring area within the Hungarian Bankholding Group and CEO of Takarék Faktorház. His responsibilities include the management and the merger of the current member bank factoring areas, as well as the establishment and operation of the new combined area. He is married, father of two children and speaks English and German.
