François Candelon is the Global Director of BCG Henderson Institute, Boston Consulting Group’s think tank dedicated to shaping business thinking in strategy, organization, change and performance. He is also a leader of the AI@Scale effort for technology, media, and telecommunications companies at BCG GAMMA arm, wich is BCG’s data science and advanced analytics unit. Candelon led BCG’s global telecommunications work from 2008 to 2012, and spent seven years in China, where he worked with the most advanced tech companies. His research focuses on AI and digital as a source of competitive advantage for businesses and national economies. He has written for the Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan Management Review and publishes his latest thinking on artificial intelligence and digital technology in his monthly column published on Fortune.com. He has been a speaker at the Mobile World Congress, TED, Web Summit, Politico AI Summit, and Wuzhen Internet Conference.
