He was born in Salgótarján in1971. He graduated M.A. History in Kossuth Lajos University (Debrecen), Faculty of Humanities. In 2001 he received a History PhD at the Kossuth Lajos University, Debrecen, Doctoral School of Humanities. In 2002 he graduated as B.Sc. International Transportation and Logistics at the Budapest Business School College of International Management & Business. In 2012 he finished the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies (Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany) Program in Advanced Security Studies course. From 2001 he become a university lecturer at the Zrínyi Miklós National Defence University, Kossuth Lajos Faculty of Military Science. From 2015 to 2021 he was head of department at the National University of Public Service, Institute of National Security, Military National Security Department. From 2021 he’s been an associate professor at the National University of Public Service, Faculty of Military Science and Officer Training, International Security Studies Department. His research areas are the theory and practice of naval warfare, global security challenges and modern (asymmetric) conflicts. The last twenty years he had nearly a thousand media appearances connected with his research areas.
