She graduated as an agricultural engineer from the University of Agricultural Sciences in Debrecen and as an environmental scientist from the University of Szeged. Her previous research interest included the paleoclimatology of the Balaton Highland region. and contemporary sediment balance of the lake. Her current research focuses on the factors influencing photovoltaic energy production in Saharan dust events, complemented by the energy and resource constraints of the 'green transition' and adaptation options. She is a senior research fellow at the Air Chemistry Research Group and the director of the Balaton Research Centre of the University of Pannonia.
