Dr. László Rosta

L. Rosta, PhD in physics, has been working in neutron research for over 40 years, since 1992 as director of science at the Budapest Neutron Centre which is a consortium of neutron based laboratories at the nuclear reactor of HAS at its Csillebérc site. His scientific activity includes research in materials structures such as semi- and superconductors, alloys, composites, engineering components – among others those of transport industry. He has gained experience in technology transfer, mostly in methodical developments of neutron instrumentation, so that commercialisation of scientific devices has been realised by SMEs. L. Rosta gives regular lectures in university training on materials science at ELTE and BME; author of 300 scientific publications, leader of various domestic and international R&D projects.
