Dr. Puskás received a Degree in Biology (1994) and a PhD in chemistry (1997) at the Medical Faculty of the University of Szeged, Hungary. He received D.Sc. from the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in biology (2007). He was a post-doc fellow in the field of biotechnology in Research Institute of Innovative Technology for the Earth (RITE) Kyoto, Japan and was a guest researcher in Microarray Facility, Leuven, Belgium. He has been the head of the Laboratory for Functional Genomics in the Biological Research in Szeged, Hungary since 1999. He became the scientific advisor and later the chief executive officer of Avidin Ltd., the chief executive officer of Avicor Ltd. (www.avicorbiotech.com). He is the author of more than 180 scientific papers and the main investigator of 13 patents.
