Dr. Antal Nikodémus PhD.

Dr. Antal Nikodémus (economist) is Head of the Science Diplomacy Division of the Foreign Trade and Foreign Affairs Ministry as a Chief Advisor; between 2010 and 2014 he was leading the Innovation and R&D Division of NGM. During the last years he has been working mostly on grounding professional proposals on industry and innovation policy, and on preparing related articles, studies. A prominent one among these is the preparation of the mid-term governmental R&D&I strategy entitled “Investment into the Future”. He also prepared the Hungarian proposal concerning the center of European Innovation and Technology Institute. He coordinates and participates in professional team preparing the Hungarian standpoint on the policy documents on European innovation initiatives and strategy. Between 2010 and 2014 he was a member of ERAC, the R&D consulting body of the European Committee and the Council.
