Dr. Csaba Nemes

As Head of the Sustainable Development Department of the Hungarian Energy and Public Utility Regulatory Authority, he is responsible for policy and regulatory issues related to energy efficiency and renewable energy. Early in his career, he worked in the Hungarian Met. Service and later in the ministries responsible for the environment, has been involved in regulatory and policy issues of renewable energy and energy efficiency, air quality, climate changes issues, environmental impact assessment, electromobility among others. He has been involved the planning environmental and development programmes and strategies as well. For many years, he has represented Hungary in UN and OECD specialised bodies on environmental and sustainability issues.
