Since his graduation from the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences in 2007, Gábor Farkas has gained significant project development and legal consulting experience in the field of energy, especially renewable energy sector. He worked in several reputable law firms and had the opportunity to form the sectorial best practices. Key focus of his professional career is to provide financing, legal and licensing support for energy projects. In 2014 he was engaged as the Head of Secretariat of the Minister of State for Energy Affairs, in which position he was the chief professional adviser to the Secretary of State for Energy, as well as the administrative leader of a larger staff of experts. In parallel with his public administration assignment, he was a member of the Board of Directors of MVM Partner Zrt. In 2018 Gábor Farkas joined the management team of SolServices Ltd., which is specialized in the development of utility scale solar parks, where he performs the duties of managing director responsible for legal and regulatory matters.
