Márton is a senior counsel in the commercial team and in the Technology, Media, Telecommunications (TMT) practice at CMS Budapest. He is also Coordinator of the CEE Data Protection Practice. His areas of expertise: IT law, data protection law, e-commerce law, cybersecurity law and Artificial Intelligence. He is an active member of of the Regulatory & Ethics Committee of the Hungarian AI Coalition. He is a regular contributor to OneTrust DataGuidance, the global privacy compliance service, and is president of the Data Protection Board of the Direct and Interactive Marketing Association (a FEDMA member). He is a lecturer of the post-graduate IT law course of the University of Pécs and of the Data Science course of Kürt Akadémia. He is a member of the Artificial Intelligence Working Group of IVSZ (Association of IT, Telecommunications and Electronics Enterprises). As part of his regulatory expertise, Márton continuously monitors regulatory developments in the field of data privacy in the TMT sector. He regularly gives presentations (Internet Hungary, Infotér) and publishes articles (Jogi Fórum, IAPP Privacy Perspectives, OneTrust DataGuidance, Thomson Reuters’ Data Privacy Advisor) on privacy issues.
