Dr. Ottó Csurgó

Dr. Ottó Csurgó started his professional carriere in 1981 at the State Insurance Company (Hungary). He joined to Colonia Group (later AXA) in 1990, and worked as Deputy CEO, from 1995 as CEO of the company. In 2000 and 2001 also member of the Board of AXA CEE Holding. Between 2002 and 2007 worked as management consultant in different international projects in the CEE and CIS regions. From October 2007 deputy CEO of OTP Garancia (today Groupama Garancia) Insurance Company in Hungary, responsible for non-life insurances. From 1991 member of the Presidential Council of MABISZ (Assotiation of Hungarian Insurers), in 1999 and 2000 president of the organisation. Member of Presidential Council of CEA in 1998-2001, Copresident of the Hungarian AIDA Chapter. Dr. Csurgó studied law in the Eötvös Loránd University, in Budapest, has the bar exam and graduated also from insurance law. Studied and certificated also on the AXA Management University.
