Dr. Csaba Kákosy

Csaba Kákosy is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Day One Capital, a Budapest based leading independent venture capital firm and technology investor actively working throughout CEE with a current portfolio of 16 companies from 9 countries of the region. As the COO, Csaba oversees the daily operations of Day One and his current portfolio includes AImotive, Commsignia, Nowtechnologies, Oradian, Orqa and Material Exchange. As the former Minister of Economy in Hungary, a senior regulatory expert in the National Bank of Hungary and in the Diplomatic Mission of Hungary to the OECD, Csaba brings over 15 years of regulatory and financial experience, a strategic mindset and a wide international network. Csaba holds a Diploma in Law from the Eotvos Lorand University, Budapest, Hungary.
