Dr. Judit Budai

Judit Budai is a senior partner and co-managing Szecskay Attorneys at Law. During her 30 years of practice, she has gained extensive experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and capital markets transactions, competition law and regulatory matters in various industrial, agricultural and service sectors. Judit has been involved in a number of privatizations and private placement transactions advising strategic or financial investors, as well as in private placements (both on the sell-side, buy-side and target company side) as a member or lead advisor of the advisory team. Currently, Judit advises mainly on private M&A transactions, mainly to foreign professional and PE investors, and provides legal advice on more complex corporate ownership and corporate governance issues to innovative start-ups. In essence, since foundation of the HVCA, she has been an active participant mainly through its Education and Legal Committees, currently she is a board member of the association and the chair of the Education Committeec.
