Dr. Balázs Tomaj

Balázs Tomaj is Senior Counsel in the Energy & Natural Resources service in Budapest. Balázs has more than 20 years of professional experience related to energy law, banking, finance and project finance. Before joining Kinstellar he was the ITO Compliance Officer of the Hungarian Transmission System Operator (MAVIR). Between 2016 and 2019 he was the Head of Legal and Regulatory Affairs of NKM National Public Utility Ltd., while in 2019 he was appointed to Deputy CEO of MVM. After restructuring the organisation of MVM from the end of 2022 became responsible for Key Account Management on group level. He is a well-known energy sector legal expert in Hungary and beyond in Central Eastern Europe.
