Csaba Markus heads the R&D and Government Incentives service line at Deloitte Hungary. After earning his law degree in Hungary and EU law degree in the Netherlands, he has worked in Brussels between 1997 and 2002; since 2002 he is working as a director at Deloitte Hungary. He has helped to realize over 3 billion EUR investment in total over the past years in Hungary. He has over 15 years of experience in state aid policy, EU and Hungarian state aid rules, tax incentives and in R&D policy, regulatory, costing and technical matters. His clients include Hungarian companies as well as multinationals especially in car manufacturing, tyre manufacturing, pharmaceutical and health, and information technology.
