Csaba Kovács is leading KPMG’s Energy & Utilities Advisory practice in Budapest as Partner from October 2015. He joined the practice in September 2011 as Director. Prior to KPMG, Csaba Kovács served as Vice-President of the Hungarian Energy Office (HEO), the national energy regulatory agency. In this position, he dealt with, among other topics: tariff calculation, stranded cost payments, market model issues, unbundling, emission trading, and renewable support schemes with a primary focus on overseeing the agency’s professional work. Csaba has also actively participated in the work of international regulatory authorities and is a frequent speaker at international conferences.
