Corinne Bendersky is an Associate Director at S&P Global Ratings based in London. She works in the Sustainable Finance team where she focuses on environmental and climate risk research and the development and implementation of related new products, including the Green Evaluation which evaluates the environmental impact of financings. Corinne’s research focuses on renewable energy, energy transition risk, energy storage, climate policy, ESG risks, and the impact of climate and environmental factors on credit ratings. Previously, Corinne worked in the North America Infrastructure & Renewables group at S&P Global Ratings where she was responsible for rating a portfolio of project finance debt transactions, including renewable energy, conventional power assets, and public private partnerships. Prior to S&P, Corinne worked at a socially responsible investment group where she conducted financial, regulatory and environmental risk analysis on electric utilities and represented shareholders in dialogues with corporate management focused on ESG risks and opportunities. Corinne received her Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the Goldman School at the University of California Berkeley and her Bachelor’s in Environmental Studies at the University of California Santa Cruz.
