Zsolt Bohner

He joined Messer in 1991 as an application engineer. The on-site gas business was built up under his leadership: today, specialists in Budapest monitor and control more than 30 on-site gas production plants on premises of major industrial customers, and Messer Hungarogáz has the greatest expertise and leading position in the Hungarian market of large-scale on-site nitrogen, oxygen and hydrogen production. As Director of Sales from 2004 and then as Managing Director from 2009 he has been responsible for the company’s continuous sustainable market growth. It is his priority to make sure that as a green hydrogen producer and hydrogen technology expert Messer plays an active part in the development of Hungarian hydrogen economy and hydrogen mobility and supporting industrial companies dedicated towards green technologies. He considers it important to keep the family atmosphere of the company in line with the values of the German parent company, that is the world’s largest family-run industrial gases specialist.
