Bartlomiej Smolarek

Bartłomiej Smolarek is a Partner at EY Poland, leading the Mergers and Acquisitions Team in Poland and supporting clients dealing with distressed assets management and securitization. He worked for Arthur Andersen in 2000-2002, he then continued his work in EY. For two years he was a Board Member responsible for the Polish market in the Hoist Group. In 2009, he returned to the Transaction Advisory Services department in EY. During his 16-year-long career Bartłomiej Smolarek gained extensive experience in NPL transactions and business modelling and due diligence services for investors operating in various sectors such as financial services, technology and communication, energy and chemicals, transportation and automotive. Bartłomiej Smolarek holds double Master’s degree in Finance and Banking and in Law from the University of Warsaw. Since 2003 he is also a tutor at the Warsaw University and the author of numerous professional publications.
