Ádám Balogh was appointed in March 2022 as the Lead of the Ukraine Support Task Force of the Energy Community Secretariat, seated in Vienna. In this capacity he is responsible for establishing and overseeing the processes related to in-kind support for the Ukrainian energy companies and cooperating with international and Ukrainian partners. He has been working as senior energy infrastructure expert at the Secretariat, focusing on supporting and assessing the economic feasibility of cross-border energy infrastructure projects and was involved in various regulatory and policy related activities in the Energy Community Contracting Parties, such as tariff setting and hydrogen infrastructure policies. Prior to that he worked at the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Gas (ENTSOG) in Brussels, as seconded expert from the Földgázszállító Zrt, focusing on project assessment, cost-benefit analysis methodologies and the European Gas Ten Year Network Development Plan (TYNDP) in the TEN-E framework. Previously he was business development expert at FGSZ Zrt. He kicked-off his career at ExxonMobil in Budapest.
Ádám is an economist with degrees from the University of Szeged and the Vienna University of Economics and Business - WU Wien.
