Dr. Barnabás Balczó graduated from the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of Pázmány Péter Catholic University in 2007, then worked in a law firm, where he mainly acquired knowledge of civil law, corporate law, employment law and focused on litigation. From 2010, he held municipal and then government positions. As Chief of Cabinet of the Prime Minister's Office, he assisted the Minister of State for National Financial Services and Postal Affairs in the preparation and implementation of decisions affecting the activities of MFB Zrt. and Magyar Posta Zrt. He graduated from the Corvinus University of Budapest with a degree in law and economics, his thesis research was on "the state in a competitive market". He participated in the establishment of ENKSZ Zrt. owned by the Hungarian State, and in the preparation and implementation of the acquisitions of public utility providers by the company He was a member of the Board of Directors of NKM Zrt. and its successor MVM Services Zrt. until 2021. Since 2016, he has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Magyar Posta Zrt., where he gained further experience in managing large state-owned enterprises. From 2018, he has founded a company engaged in financial consulting, project financing and management related to large-scale rural development investments and was working as an accredited public procurement expert until. CEO of MFB Invest Zrt. from April 2021. From September 2021, he was elected as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Jövő Nemzedék Földje Alapítvány (Land of the Future Generation Fundation) responsible for the financing of the Ménesbirtok and Tangazdaság Zrt. in Mezőhegyes.
