Bence is the CFO and Controller for Citibank Hungary and for the Central Europe sub-cluster within Citibank Europe plc. He and his team oversee finance and accounting across seven countries, regulatory reporting to central banks, and provide financial advisory and support to Citi’s local business leaders and country heads.
Prior to joining Citi in 2020, he was a Senior Consultant in EY’s Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) practice, focusing on banking engagements. Earlier, he worked as a macroeconomist at OGResearch, contributing to studies commissioned by the IMF, the European Commission, and Hungary’s Fiscal Council. He holds a degree from Corvinus University of Budapest and was a leading member of the Rajk College for Advanced Studies. Since 2013, he has published extensively on economics, finance, social sciences, and technology.
