Ákos Garaba

Akos Garaba is the Engineering Lead and Managing Director for Jaguar Land Rover Hungary. Graduated from Technical University of Budapest and currently studying economics on Master level.  Akos began his career as a test engineer at one of the largest automotive suppliers where he spent 6 years and got very strong foundations.  His next step in his career was when relocated to UK and he joined Jaguar Land Rover in. Changing from supplier to OEM  side, was very interesting and challenging, helped to shape and widen the knowledge in automotive development and manufacturing. After spending two years in the UK, he relocated to Hungary to begin his role as an engineer at Jaguar Land Rover Hungary. Akos's career rapidly progressed, leading him to become a Group Leader. Recently, he achieved another milestone by being promoted to Engineering Site Lead for Hungary. In his current role, Akos is responsible for overseeing the engineering operations in Hungary, defining strategic directions, and fostering synergies between local and global teams within Jaguar Land Rover.
