Contrary to the expectations of many, the coronavirus crisis has not thrown back the growth of the Hungarian insurance market: the sector’s premium income continues to grow dynamically. Life insurances are performing surprisingly well not only owing to pension products, while some asset and liability insurances are also performing strongly. However, new types of risks threaten the market: high inflation and an increased yield environment, climate change and the almost compulsory ESG-shift, changing customer needs, the transformation of product structures and sales channels raise numerous questions regarding the market’s present and future.
After a “gap year” due to the epidemic, in line with Portfolio’s traditions, interesting panel discussions, presentations, and networking possibilities enable the audience of the Insurance 2022 held in early spring to discuss the future’s business opportunities and risks in the topics and areas mentioned above. In addition to insurers, insurance brokers, legal and consultant partners, IT companies, and other suppliers may also be interested in the information presented at the event.
