At the venture capital, private equity and corporate finance conference, taking place on 1 June 2017 in Budapest, the challenges of the region’s venture capital and private equity industry will be discussed through domestic and foreign presentations and panel discussions.
The conference agenda will include items that engage the attention of the conference participants: What transformations have taken place in the private equity industry? What effects will Brexit have on this sector? Why is the proportion of women in this industry low? Can we expect change in the future?
In recent years, a new phenomenon has emerged, i.e. the emergence of large companies financing innovative new companies. Is this a temporary phenomenon, or has a new structure emerged? What is the ideal role of the European Union in terms of financing early-stage companies? This year, we will also discuss the opportunities of raising capital in the sector, new and successful investment strategies, exit opportunities, and the changes in the regulatory environment.
