Hungary's Mol signs new share option deal with UniCredit

Hungarian fuels group Mol has announced on Tuesday that based on the agreement concluded with UniCredit Bank AG, the option rights regarding over 29 million Mol shares under a share option deal signed on 3 January this year will be settled and a new agreement has been signed.
Mol announced that the option rights regarding 29,272,640 Mol Series “A" Ordinary shares under the share option agreement concluded between UniCredit and Mol on 3 January 2017, will be physically settled in respect of 4,933,378 options and cash settled in respect of 24,339,262 options on 16 November 2017.

The strike price of the options is EUR 8.28858.

Simultaneously, Mol and UniCredit entered into a new share option agreement. As a result of this transaction Mol receives American call options and UniCredit receives European put options regarding 24,339,262 Shares on 16 November 2017.

The strike price of both the call and put options will be EUR 10.27147 per one share.

The expiration date of both the call and the put options will be 14 November 2018, such maturity being subject to yearly extensions, up to a maximum of two extensions of one year each.

Following this transaction Mol directly and indirectly owns 76,132,735 “A" Series and 578 “C" Series Mol Ordinary shares.
