Hungary Mol lowers fuel prices further

Hungarian oil and gas group Mol has lowered the wholesale price of 95-octane gasoline by HUF 9 per litre and that of diesel fuel by HUF 7 per litre as of Wednesday.
The average price of gasoline dropped to HUF 379 per litre, while diesel costs HUF 390 per litre on average.

The last time fuel prices in Hungary changed was last Friday, when gasoline was raised HUF 6 per litre to HUF 388 and diesel by HUF 4 a litre to HUF 397.

Motorists may find differences of up to HUF 50 per litre at the pumps, depending on the location and pricing strategy of the given petrol station.

The average price of gasoline reached its peak in early April 2012 at HUF 451 and the price of diesel was the highest at HUF 449 on average in mid-January 2012.
