COVID-19 in Hungary: 164 new cases, 21 dead on Tuesday

Hungarian authorities confirmed just 164 new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases on Tuesday, increasing the total since last March to 802,510. The death toll rose to 29,581 after 21 elderly or chronic patients succumbed to the disease. There are now 1,417 coronavirus patients in hospital, with 159 of them on ventilator. The vaccination drive continues as 5,026,529 people have now been vaccinated with one dose and 3,072,940 with both shots.

Pandemic statistics in Hungary keep declining steeply.

There were 164 new coronavirus cases yesterday, increasing the total since last March to 802,510.

Hungary’s vaccination drive continues as 5026,529 people have been vaccinated with at least one dose and 3,072,940 have received both shots. Vaccination coverage is now 51.45% and 31.45%, respectively.
