COVID-19 in Hungary: less than 2,000 new cases on Monday
The number of fatalities is also decreasing and was the lowest since 25 November. The seven-day average is 160, 2% lower than a week ago.
The number of recoveries is increasing and is now at 83,115, while the number of active cases is 195,411, up 12% in a week. Meanwhile, the number of people in hospital and on ventilators dropped by 2.5% and 1%, respectively.
The number of tests applied rose by 73,116 in the past 24 hours, probably largely due to mass rapid test figures being added all at once. The ratio of new cases is therefore 2.5%, well below last week’s 12.5% average.
