German group boosts Hungarian headcount by 30%

Germany’s industrial services specialist Leadec Group hired 150 people in its Győr-based (northwest Hungary) plant, boosting its headcount there by 30%, the company told state-owned newswire MTI on Sunday.
The task of the newly recruited personnel will be the technical, infrastructural and logistical operation of the manufacturing processes in the Győr-based automotive plants. The staff expansion takes the headcount at Leadec to 730.

Leadec Ltd. is a subsidiary of Germany’s Stuttgart-based Leadec Group that has more than 20,000 employees worldwide at more than 200 locations. Leadec is one of the leading providers of technical services in the industry. Its revenues reached EUR 900 million in 2017.

In Hungary, Leadec is currently present in Győr, Kecskemét, Miskolc, Szentgotthárd, and Szombathely.
