Retail chain Penny Market Hungary has delivered its new logistics centre in Veszprém, western Hungary, on Tuesday. The facility sprawls on 10 hectares (24 acres) and its construction absorbed nearly 9 billion forints (EUR 29.2 mn). The logistics base creates 150 jobs in the region.
The new logistics centre will collaborate in supplying 60 stores and thus it will shorten delivery times. Reflecting the importance of sustainability the facility will also reduce emissions.

Construction works had begun in October 2016 in Sepsiszentgyörgy street in the outskirts of Veszprém.
