Head of Treasury and Investor Relations
Location Budapest
The position
The new Head of Treasury and IR will be reporting directly to CEO, and will be leader of a team of 3 employees. Overall the new employee will be responsible for the efficient operation of the treasury and investor relations function in order to ensure the short and long term financing of E-Star and ensure high reputation of the company among investors and other stakeholders of capital market.
Scope of activities, main responsibilities
- Ensures short and long term financing of the company
- Runs and supervises banking relations and cash management in cooperation with the CFO
- Support Finance Department in capital structure planning
- Manage capital market transactions (corporate debt and equity transactions)
- Manage relation with investors and analysts of financial institutes
- Support analyst’s coverage and high reputation of the company at financial institutes
- Organize and execute corporate road-shows to investors (Hungary and abroad)
- Cooperate with business development function in validating business opportunities and evaluation of companies or potential projects
Requirements
Experience, background:
- The ideal candidate is a senior financial and investor relations professional with at least 8 years of professional experience, including leadership experience. Experience in investor relations (bond and equity issuance, managing analyst’s coverage)
- Prior experience in financial analysis, modelling and company evaluation
- Experience in cash management and financing with banks
- International experience is a major advantage
Education: University degree, primarily with finance or economics concentration is a must. CFA qualification is an advantage
Language knowledge: Excellent command of English language is a prerequisite; knowledge of Hungarian or another CEE language is advantageous. Mobility in CEE countries is major requirement.
Personal characteristics:
- In terms of personal characteristics, the ideal candidate will have a good level of maturity and confidence.
- He or she must be an excellent communicator with outstanding financial knowledge, people management skills, and a very results- and business-oriented character who is able to establish relationship easily and able to build strong partnership with third parties.
- The final candidate is also flexible, reliable and is able to work hard under pressure, and willing to travel frequently.
Compensation
The successful candidate will be paid a competitive compensation package commensurate with the important responsibilities of this role in delivering overall business objectives of E-Star.
